This page offers you all the information about the Tourisme Event that will take place in France. In this case, it is a seminar and B2B meetings for travel and accommodation professionals.

This hybrid event will have a presencial activity the Monday, May 16th, at the following location: Maison Du Zéro déchet Paris 12e.

This event is organized by L'Institut Paris Region.

All the following events are scheduled in the Central European Summer Time (CEST).

Morning: Seminar Building a low-carbon and competitive tourism offer – 16th May

•  9:00-9:30 -  Welcome coffee.

•  9:30-10:00 - Mobility and tourism: what levers for the energy transition?. Aurélien Bigo, Researcher on transportation energy transition.

• 10:00 10:30 - Carbon offsetting : examples and limits. Myrto Tilianaki, Climate and Food Sovereignty Advocacy Officer (CCFD)

• 10:30-11:15 - Responsible tourism: diversity and perspectives of development of offers. Julien Buot, Director of the association and label of tour operators Agir pour un Tourisme Responsable (ATR)

• 11:15-11:30 - Break.

• 11:30-12:30 - Testimonies from travel companies on the steps they have taken. Speakers: Discovery Trains, La Route des Voyages, Odysway, Revlys, Shanti Travel,GenuineSpain, Group Los Telares.

• 12:30 -12:40  - Intervention of the EC Project Adviser - Alan Vella

• 12:40-13:00 - Masterclasses.

Afternoon: B2B meetings - 16th May

• 14:00-16:30 - Individual meetings with registered professionals. Choose who you would like to meet: travel and accommodation companies from the TOURISME project (from Cyprus, Spain, France and Italy), other French travel and accommodation companies, consulting firms, economic development agencies, etc. A matchmaking tool will be set up to facilitate your meetings.

• 16:30 - Conclusion of the afternoon.

• 17:00-18:30 - Urban walks reserved for TOURISME project companies and speakers.

L’Institut Paris Region, partner of the TOURISME project, invites you to a day dedicated to the decarbonization of travel offers through inspiring presentations and B2B meetings based on individual appointments.

Participation in this day is free for TOURISME participants and by invitation for other partners.
